How do we support youth, sports and our future sports stars?
Each year the Trust makes contributions in a range of ways based on promoting physical activity (sport & recreation) to youth and assisting local athletes to perform on the international stage.
WE currently support…
- Jarrod Cunningham Sports Academy @ Havelock North High
- Paora Winitana and Paul Henare Basketball Academy
- Youth rugby via Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union
- STARS athlete funding programme (Sport Hawke’s Bay)
- Junior Rugby Development in association with the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union
- Talent Development – financially supporting some elite athletes
INDIVIDUAL FUNDING REQUEST
The trust allocates $15,000 to Sport Hawke’s Bay’s STARS programme. This fund assists Hawke’s Bay athletes that are representing New Zealand overseas. If you are looking for funding please contact Sport Hawke’s Bay.
